Captain Thompson fights a sea monster at Knight’s Key for 24 hours with fishing tackle, harpoons and rifles. After the beast crushes the propeller on the yacht Kathleen, Thompson continues the battle in the yacht Samoa. He tows the 38-foot beast into Miami. (3 Jun 1912)
