The Santa Maria replica, used in the Palm Fete, was the old Halcyon S [?] with some of her stern removed, an engine installed, the hull painted black and rigged in the maritime fashion of 20 years ago. Reports of a ghost pirate ship off the Atlantic coast match this description. (13 Aug 1921)
