Freta, a British tramp steamer, is hard and fast ashore about 2 miles off the beach pavilion in 17 feet of water. The captain refuses assistance from the wreckers and is jettisoning the soft coal cargo. She is stranded in almost the same spot as the Bell. Wreckers standing by are: Gertrude, Limena, Anna and Three Sisters. (19 Jun 1907)
