After being aground for 10 hours on Star Reef the Spanish steamship Reina Maria Cristina is pulled free with the help of tank steamer Sorri and calm seas. She proceeds to Havana, with 750 passengers and 150 crew members from Barcelona. The captain refused all other assistance from local wreckers. (3 Dec 1915)
